Install ROM :
- Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
- Select "scatter-Loading" and search MT6757_Android_scatter.txt in ROM
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
- Select "Download Only" or if upgrade "Firmware upgrade"
- Turn off your phone, remove the battery (if the battery is removable) and replace it after some seconds (and don't turn on the phone).
- Press “Download” button to start
- and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow.
- And green circles display
- Finish !
- You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.

Any chance we could find a ROM with just pico or micro gapps installed? Some of the apps from google keep restarting in the background whenever data is on if they are pre-installed
No currently available only the rom stock.
But you can start a TWRP custom recovery to enable the root, and modify system applications
TWRP recovery won't work, can't root phone either
Solution
Enable Debugging and OEM unlock
use adb to reboot to bootloader
unlock oem
reboot to twrp img
flash gapps (minimum micro needed, or use aroma and perform a custom installation)
while in twrp use fastboot to reboot into bootloader
lock the OEM
reboot system

please immediately release android 7.1 and fix defauld camera which I think bad camera results, if compared with le pro 3 aja the result is still good le pro 3.
Huawei Honor 6 Plus 8MP + 8MP and le pro 3 16MP single, its bokeh is very good when compared ulefone t1, what is due to bad stock ROM?
I hope there are other developers, developing another rom that can fix a bad camera.
this product is good hardware spec killler but bad os support.
I hope ulefone can make your own os to be better … !!!!

developers can't develop any custom ROM bacuase there is no sources available for stock ROM. If Ulefone released sources than developoers would be able to create custom ROMs.
So far we need Ulefone to fix dual camera issue as well as bad focusing issue. Having said that, they could also levelarage commuty support by release sources and allowing 3rd party ROMs, but so far, there hasn't been done much in this direction.

ulefone should develop their own os system, to be more advanced and able to compete, but unfortunately that in use stock rom,
make look cheap with os stock rom,
whereas the development os own system is very important to support the hardware capabilities.
so feel the loss to buy this product, because os stock rom is given very ugly.
when I compare the 16MP + 5MP camera in the comparisons of 16MP single or 12MP single, the result of ulfone t1 is very ugly.
very unreasonable but that's the result.
and also the ulefone has never updated the improvements through ota,
make a minus on this product.
some update flashing rom is provided, does not provide significant changes in this t1 ulefone,
hopefully ulefone companies can fix the problem stock rom, in order to make their own rom, to be better.

No news and even no more roms, neither here, nor on official site. I assume GQ3039 is a "dead project" now. They sold most of the devices in stock, no need to maintain the platform anymore. I would love to be mistaken, but so far there are no signs of the opposite, unfortunately.
