This firmware is based on V3-E Stock 1.0.1 from 24-DEC-2013 with working OTG
Instructions

- Extract ROM
- Extract and run latest version of SP Flash Tools
- Load scatter from !Files_To_Flashtool
- Turn off phone
- Click 'download' in SP Flash Tool
- Click 'ok'
- Connect phone
- Boot into recovery (VolUp+Power) and factory reset
ROM Includes

- Rooted
- Carliv Standard Touch based on CWM 6.0.4.4. This recovery is safe to factory
reset with. It won't format /system.
- 3.5GB internal storage / 10.5GB phone storage
Otherwise the ROM is completely stock. No add-on junk.

- Standard CWM 5.5
- Stock recovery
- EBR for 6.0GB internal storage / 8GB phone storage
To use these instead, before clicking 'download', just point SP Flash Tool to the recovery or EBR you want to use
by clicking on EBR1 and EBR2 or recovery, and directing SP Flash to the corresponding files in
the 'Extras' folder.

Hi, I have some issues. I have a v3 with stock rom and recovery, is that fine if I follow these instruction to root and divide the partition like that? I load the scatter and it turn red on the first line PRELOADER, is that ok for me to continue? I just have the phone for 2 days so I dont know is that safe to mess all the things?
And how about the factory reset issue? If I do it in the stock rom, it will stuck? or I need to install the new CWM and wipe data from it? By the way, do you have any idea when it will have mod rom?
Leros, you should be able to use either one. SP Flash Tool 3 or Flash Tool 5. Also, for anyone who's wondering, this is 4.2.2. Or whatever stock is (stock 24-DEC-2013 reports itself as 4.2.2).
I get error "BROM ERROR: S_FTHND_FILE_IS_NOT_LOADED_YET (5007) with flash tool V5. Preloader, Cache and USRDATA files do not exist.
Why?
When I follow the instructions I get this error:
BROM ERROR: S-UNSUPPORTED_VER_OF_DA (1022)
Ok third try and it did now work, strange way to update a ROM, well it finally downloads something. I never did use the download function before and assumed that I would use flash firmware as with the original stock one.
Information: The battery must remain installed (with previous phones I usually had to remove the battery).
When all items aren't checked (in this case preloader), you must use download as indicated in the instructions. It's not strange at all.
Sometimes you'll need to remove battery first, other times you won't. It depends on the state of the phone for the preloader to 'catch'.
The rom still bugy on data time option,closes with error after the 1 time changer.

No claim was made regarding date and time crash fix. For myself, I’ve had no problem with date and time crash. To repeat myself, this is stock ROM. Unchanged other than root, storage, and cwm.
You can try to fix your date and time settings crash with xposed and gravitybox.
Any chance of you creating this exact rom based on 1.0.4…..? please..?
I'd love to have an iNew Nexus with the latest firmware..
