   My has this information.
   The last rom (CWM-ThL.W200S-KK4.4.2-09092014-v4.1) give me a black screen, so I think I have a "bad screen" too.
   Anyone with the same LCD type? Anyone knows or recommend a specific lk.bin for this LCD?

     I've been Googling around for other phones with the 'bad' LCD Driver ICs and most of them have the same problem – no Kitkat support. But when I found one that somehow WAS supported I downloaded the firmware and flashed lk.bin just to see what'd happen – and so far all I got were black screens and boot loops

   Who know, how get info about LCD type with ADB or shell?
   I want to make check LCD type in CWM ROM install.
   MTK Tools can find this info, but I don't know how it do.

   i have just downloaded the latest version(9.9.214) but there is no scatter file(s) it seems to be a zip file. tried extracting(via 7zip) but still no scatter file(s).or is it just an install via recovery? the version i am on is 25.8.214. thanks.

     ROM with prefix CWM – for recovery install.
     ROM with prefix FT – for FlashTool install.

   ? sorry,the FT build is the same build of the kit kat rom that i have on my phone(via settings,about phone 25.8.2014) and i have the twrp recovery for kit kat.so the update was just for people with black screen problems? as the last two builds of this ROM i didnt have a problem with(except for the f.c.on last build which another poster gave a answer to fix that) for me there are only two ROMS that will install on my phone which this one and the OFFICIAL DEODEXED STOCK ROM which is listed on need rom.and i really dont want to end up that black screen of death! all other roms on need rom end up with the THL logo stuck on my phone screen.thanks for the relpy for which one is the cwm or flashtool version.

   I was googling the web and found this information:

   These are the ones jb had drivers for:
   NT35512
   OTM1283A
   NT35590
   HX8394a
   otm9608a

   And these are the ones who have kitkat drivers for:

   otm9608a
   HX8394a

   I have crashed my screen and I'm buying a new one.

   I'm thinking in buy a THL W200C screen.

   There is a way to identify the screen HC driver just by looking the screen?
   I'm chatting with an Aliexpress seller and he have sent me these pictures of the new lcd set.

     I've also crashed my screen and I will also have to buy a new one. I also formatted my phone using flashtool format option but after that flashtool doesn't recognize my phone anymore. Therefore, I can't flash the firmware on my phone. Do you know about anything that can make my phone alive once again?

   Is the 'LCD driver IC' in the actual screen? Maybe changing it won't accomplish anything, since it might be on the main PCB. Just sayin'

     In red the difference… this is frustrating…

    (me) "Hello, Any news on when Android 4.4 will be available for those of us with W200S phones? There are a few unofficial ROMs that apparently work but not with all phones, some of them (like mine) have a different screen and do not work. Please let us know how this is coming along, we would like to have the latest OS version on our phones. Thank You"

      And that's that… Is up to us to find a workaround this…

      Maybe if we could found out ant other brands that could this display on their phones also, and made a KITKAT upgrade for their customers…

      ThL is not a real brand or company… they only care to suck up our money… after that nothing else matters…

      Other brands now that if they treat good their customers its more likely that they we buy for them again… not ThL… their seem to be toddlers in this business…
