   I'rm reformat device with stock firmware and install CWM version.
   Free internal memory 22Gb. 

   May be error in scatter file, sometime later I make new version scatter with normal partition size.

   Thank you but this is not what I needed. What I need is a file called lk.bin which is meant to be flashed onto the phone using SP Flash Tools and contains the driver that makes the screen work. Specifically one for the nt35590 / otm1283a type screens, FOR KITKAT. Can you please forward this to your tech team?

     Predictably enough, installing lk.bin from that last link completely bricked my phone (was able to flash a 'good' JB lk.bin back, but that's beside the point).

   I *think* I remember that the Coolpad F1 uses the same (or very similar) hardware *and* has a KitKat upgrade. But I have not been able to obtain an lk.bin file from one yet, IIRC all the ROMs posted online are in the CWM format, from which I don't know how to extract that file..

     CWM format  - this only ZIP archive with all files inside and small script to install ROM.

     You can get lk.bin (another name uboot.img) from archive and flsh with FT. No ptoblem any!

     uboot.img and lk.bin for MTK plaform is same.

     You can rename or do not rename, as you want.

    The nt35590 is manufactured by Novatek, maybe we can try contacting Novatek about its compatibility with kitkat.

    I've sent an email to Novatek asking about nt35590 compatibility with kitkat, if it is compatible so THL or other phone manufacturer should develop a lk.bin.

      Good luck but I don't expect ThL to come through even if Novatek DID provide you with a driver. They've already sold the phones, they already have the money – why bother? It's easier to pay a guy to repeat the same two things over email (see my post above) again and again to anyone who complains until they get tired and stop asking than to pay people who actually know something to grind code and come up with the needed upgrade….
