i think its because you need to flash stock rom android 6.0 and after install this rom over the stock..i solved doing this.
no Network on sim card.. no card inserted message
works fine!
Elephone S7 4GB. Endless logo. In the beginning was set stock android 6, then recovery 3.1.1, then super su, then wipes are and installation according to the instructions. Recovery 3.2.2 – the rusult has not changed.

Do I need to uncheck the preloader option in SPFT while installing stock rom?
As u said I flashed Android 6 stock rom successfully but lost my IMEI. After that I tried flashing TWRP 3.1.1 and did all steps correctly but Android recovery showed up every time . Kindly help
It think that twrp 3.1.1 is made for Android 7.1.1 stock. Tell me if I m doing anything wrong
TWRP 3.1.1 work great on both version android 6 or 7.1.1
install stock rom 6 MM and run once
install twrp and follow INSTALLATION procedure
