Installing Recovery TWRP 2.7.1.1 Kitkat
1- Extract Recovery TWRP 2.7.1.1 + Mobileuncletools.zip in phone memory root;
2- Install MobileUncleTools v2.9.9.apk and open it;
3- Click in "Recovery Update"–>"recovery.img"–>"OK"–>"OK"
4- Phone will start in Recovery Mode. Done…
Installing KITKAT Y Rom
1- Start in recovery mode, with phone turned of press volume up+ and power button, three options will appear chose the first one, volume down- its the enter button, volume up+ its the navigation button;
2- Touch on wipe and make swipe to factory reset;
3- Go back and touch on install and select KitKat Y.zip swipe to install, it will reboot when the rom was installed.
About Rom:
The Rom is very near to stock but with bugs fixed like volume + when screen locked that calls to emergency number (thanks nikoz), and more…
Notes:
-In the first boot i recommend to remove the sim cards and turn on phone, go to "settings"/"time and date" and disable "automatic timezone", it's a bug, if it's enabled says com.process.phone stopped working and you can't use sim cards.
-Before install any app go to "Settings"–>"Storage"–>"Change Installation Apps to Internal Device Storage"
Y3 Rom:
Random reboots fixed
Proximity sensor fixed – calls delay removed
Comunication module bug fixed – when in deepsleep sometimes don't receive calls
Youtube app now have more resolutions- 1080p, 480p and more
Visual of status bar and quick settings bar from aosp
Other minimal fixes
Y4 Rom 11/12/2015-
-Busybox updated (please go to busybox app, let it load, allow root and click install and reboot phone)
-Radio last oficial module (comunication module official release, on older roms the comunication module was ported and dont work 100%)
-Apps grid menu 6×6 in launcher
-Gps improved
-Audio in calls improved by adding variable audio quality
Y5 Rom 14/12/2015
-Fixed bug with Developer Options and graphics board. When deactivate the developer mode and activate it again the EngineerMode (dial *#35789#*) menus will stay laggy when scroll up or down, and the app MeoMusic can't change the songs in lockscreen and notification bar. Now its fixed.
Y6 Rom 23/12/2015
-Fixed systemui problems
-Lots of improvements in buildprop (more than 1 hour work)
-Checked update-script (little bugs)
-Now its not needed change install location of apps (the default location is Internal Memory)

Tungoli instala a app rootexplorer ou esfileexplorer (modo root ativado) e vais a root/data/system e apagas o ficheiro batterystats.bin e deixas a bateria chegar a zero até se desligar. Metes a carregar e deixas chegar a 100% e só depois ligas o telemóvel

I’ve installed your y6 ROM and everything is OK but some random reboots. All installed like instructions.

I said that i make kitkat version but there are problems that cant be solved. Random reboots could happen by use many apps opened in background or installed from unknown sources(moded apps).
Im gonna test the lollipop rom, but im without time. And im gonna send my phone to warranty because it loses G and 3G signal and i have to use one powerful charger 2A, because its not charging with stock charger. Its a big shit…

monkekko use greenify to close your apps. It's some app that it's causing reboots

Tengo instalado a rom y6, tudo funciona bem excepto que as mensagens de whatsapp, emails o outras notificacoes chegam tarde ou so cuando abres a aplicacao correspondente. Penso que pode ser devido a gestao de bateria que por certo aumentou muito a autonomia. Ė possivel buscar um ponto medio?
Isso acontece porque usas algum programa para fechar apps como o greenify ou clean master, mas também pode ser do tempo que tens configurado nas opções de email para fazer o update dá para por de 15 em 15 min, deves ter isso configurado para actualizar de hora a hora
