Any chance I can get some directions for installing this? I started with booting with volume pressed, and it took me to a menu that was entirely chinese… I don't quite understand chinese yet… any chance I can get some help?

Yes it does work but in my case the simcard signal dropped from 4 tot 2. I myself am having a serious wifi problem; very instable and terrible wifi reception. Thats why I tried this firmware but it did not resolve the wifi problem. (
Is this general problem or only to your device? I have the 2gb ram 16gb rom mtk6592 version.
Works perfectly on my 2gb ram version. The only issue I've come across so far is the GPS seeing but not fixing onto any satellites.

This ROM is awsome, I've tried the others.
This one is rock stable, haven't even had a single freeze or sudden reboot.
I've gravitybox fully working. Also the battery life is great, i've started at 7:30 this morning and it's now 23:45 and I have 53% left. i use the Smart radio feature in gravitybox to switch the radio to 2g instead of 2g/3g when on standby or on wifi, another secret I'd like to share is that if you uncheck "Energysaving CPU" in the setting under battery menu it will actually increase battery life and consume allot less battery!
