That's not correct for me… I had these issues with 1.6
Since I installed 1.7 everything seems to work (GPS I can't test, it's not working on my phone in general… it's defect). But it runs stable with a good Wifi connection…
Yes, 1.6 build has a little stability issues, 1.7 is perfect for me
