Original ROM ZOPO ZP998 Version : ZOPO ZP998 20140117-181430 ( just rooted )
Gapps include – Rooted
Language support: Multilang
Install ROM:
- Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
- Select a the MT6592_Android_scatter_emmc.txt in ROM
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
- choose Option->USB Model,click USB Model
–> Choose Option->DA DownLoad All->Speed->High Speed, click High Speed
- Turn off your phone, remove the battery.
- "Press F9 (hit Download button)" OR " if upgrade ROM Firmware->Upgrade "
- and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow.
- And green circles display
- Finish !
- You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM

I cannot flash using USB cable, not sure why.
I downloaded flashtools, unpack and followed as instructed. But after I plug in the USB cable to my laptop, the status just doesn't move at all. It would stay stuck there..
Any help? Thanks in advance.
Did u install also the drivers for mkt6592 ?
you can find all in the Zopo ZP998 starter pack ROM here in Needrom ZP998.
Also, i had the same problem sometimes and i just plug out, wait 2-3 seconds and plug in again

Framaroot is not working nor any other way

This ROM is already rooted.
I use the root with Titanium, with Mobile uncle
Also You can access all the settings if you press 7 times Build number in Settings/About phone
I have already enabled Advanced settings, but Titanium and MobileUncle say that the phone is not rooted. I used the file ZP998_20140329-161638.zip with flash tools Download option

The big question is: what about the GPS? Can it be used for navigation?
Mind it, the question is NOT about the First Fix Time, but the accuracy of the position provided to the navigation.

Yeah, this is the perfect ROM… my microphone is fixed ! Now I can use whatsapp and maybe loudspeaker, I'll test later. Yesterday I've been placed my zp998 for sale… but now I will think about that. Bravo ZOPO, Congratulations !
