1.copy ****.zip to root folder of the phone SD card (no need to unzip).
2.Turn off the phone, then keep pressing power button and volume+ button until the robot icon appear, then press power button again and it will show as below
3.Press the volume- to move up and down to choose“wipe data/factory reset”, then press volume+ button to confirm.
4.Choose “yes—delete all user data”, then press volume+ button to enter the page as below.
5.It will enter below page after finishing delete all user data.
6.Then choose“apply update from sdcard”
7.Find and select the ROM, press volume+ to enter the page as below.
8.Please make sure the power is sufficient during the upgrading. It will showed as below when the upgrading finished.
9.Choose “reboot system now”,then press volume+ button to reboot your phone.

installed this rom perfectly using the steps. How can i install root and custom recovery so i can install gapps?
Like others, please explain how one gets google apps on this phone? The .zip files I've tried do not install

Please Rooted Gapps include in KK 4.4.4 and realease with Scatter Load file so that we can update via SP tools.
Worked perfectly through stock recovery 3e. Having a difficult time sideloading google apps onto the phone and it seems to drain a decent amount of battery, but otherwise a decent rom.
Rooted the phone through iroot for everyone's reference.
With the new update has a problem with the battery. It is not loaded to the end. Phone off spontaneously.
i was glad when i found this rom, install it with no issues, but after installation it keeps giving me the "Unfortunately the phone.com.android.phone Has Stopped" i've tried several solutions available but none worked, so i'm back to the 4.2.2 version. Did anyone had the same issue?
