A680_S316_140108.7Z :
- This is the original Lenovo S316 firmware. I got some request for this.
- has not GAPPS
- has not root
- only EN/CN languages
Install ROM :
- Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
- Select a the MT6582_Android_scatter.txt in ROM
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
- choose Option->USB Model,click USB Model
–> Choose Option->DA DownLoad All->Speed->High Speed, click High Speed
- Turn off your phone, remove the battery, and put back about 5 sec later
- "Press F9 (hit Download button)" OR " if upgrade ROM Firmware->Upgrade "
- and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow.
- And green circles display
- Finish !
- You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM

This rom only for Lenovo A680. The A680 haven't MT6589 that is MT6582.
Can I install the ROM as per instruction directly from stock or I need to root it first? TQ

I have installed this rom to my phone before 2 days and i would like to share my experience so far :
- I had a problem with screen auto rotation which is now working better ,but not completely fixed .
- When i go to contacts ->settings ->visible contacts and choose "only from phone" ,it keeps
showing me ALL contacts (SIM also) which is annoying .
- The phone i bought was not rooted (i bought it from a China Seller from internet) and after i installed
this ROM is still not rooted (checked with various apps) .
- When the phone prompts me to a Lenovo page , the page is in Chinese (themes or apps page) .
So far i have discovered this small issues .
I hope i have helped somehow to make this ROM better .

As for rotation I fixed it by installing and uninstalling ultimate rotation control as for root use framaroot I need a cwm recovery too….
