ROM LENOVO A690 – ROM Android Android 2.3.6 V1.5a
Install ROM:
1. Download this package firmware.
2. Extract all the files in the package to your desktop.
3. now, turn your phone off/remove the battery/put it back in/don’t turn it on.
4. While pressing the camera button,Connect your phone to your computer.
5. Install your usb driver.disconnect your phone after driver installation,remove the battery and put it back in/don’t turn it on.
6. Run flash_tool.exe located in SP_Flash_Tool folder.
This is the NVRAM backup, It’s not working for me, you can skip this, but you can try it if you like maybe it will work for you.
7. you can release the camera button when flashing started.after flashing is done,close sp flash tool/disconnect your phone/reboot system.
-First boot will take time.

Just search on the Google Play store for “custom locale”, there are a couple of apps that will allow you install a LOT of languages.
I tried many times on different devices and Android versions, sometimes some menus or apps do not change the language, but on average it’s OK.
Example applications in Play store:
•Set Locale and Language
•MoreLocale 2
But there is many more…

To unpack Flash run Flash_tool.exe
Select a the in MT6575_Android_scatter_emmc.txt in recovery
Click Flash_tool.exe interface Firmware-> Upgrade
