- What is recovery ?
Recovery partition – it is a special partition where recovery program resides. There are several partition on the phone.
Recovery mode – a mode where you can do administrative stuff. To enter this mode turn on your phone while holding Volume down(-). You can also reboot to recovery mode from MobileUncle Tools. You can access this mode after flashing recovery image to the recovery partition .
Recovery image – this is a binary file (image) of the recovery partition which contains recovery program. After rooting your phone you can use custom image (i.e. with english interface) by flashing it to the partition.
How to flash recovery image ?
You can do it using MobileUncle Tools if your mobile is Chinese
Copy recovery image file to the root directory of your SD card
Run MobileUncle Tools on your phone and go Recovery Update.
and choose the file that we transfer which is the RECOVERY.IMG
and your phone will reboot to ClockworkMod Recovery and that’s it you have successfully ported the CWM recovery on your phone if you want to backup your phone you can just go to the backup and restore settings and you will see the backup and choose that navigating in the CWM recovery is by using your POWER,VOLUME UP and DOWN button

I have lost my custom recovery mode cwm 3e .my device is mt6577 gt n7100.please tell me anybody how can I recover this mode and how can I install this cwm which mentioned above .where can we find a recovery.img file please tell me the recovery.img link ?I shall be anybody answer
Same problem to me. I have a C2000 and there is no CWM for this phone in the Web.
I made my own CWM with MTK Droid. This link is in german, but you'll find it in XDA too.

Rooted with Zroot.
Root checker basic says: "Congratulations! This device has root access!"
Next I try to update recovery with Mobile uncle Tools, but Mobile uncle says: "Please Root Android first."
What am I doing wrong???

Try this on your own risk:
Open SuperUser and give SU permissions for this Mobile Uncle Tool.
If this don't work, try the MTK Droid Tool (http://www.android-hilfe.de/so.....tml#post7173815). You'll find it in XDA too.
Start this MTK Droid with USB to your phone and look at the litte box, left , last row. If it's not green, klick on ROOT. Then answer at the next step in the new window NO and enter.
When the program finished, ROOT Checker. If the program says NO ROOT ACCESS, root the phone again.
Normally, then everything is fine.
