     I think it is compatible. Actually nobody really saw a D6000 with MSM8916. They are all MSM8939.

     I updated my d6000 with chinaphonearena, they have all the tutorials and downloads you need. The only problem is you will have to root your phone yourself and then add Google play store, which can be a little tricky.

     Here are all the current ROMS and OTA

     Here are the tutorials and downloads to root and add gApps 

     Still wait for stable custom ROMs like cyanogen or MIUI. This phone have a real potential

   Note, there is no MSM8916 Innos D6000. There is only MSM8939. Tested and working on MSM8939 Innos D6000.

   According to these applications, my phone Innos D6000 , has :
   CPU -Z board msm8916
   AIDA64 plate MSM8916
   AIDA64 Soc model MSM8939
   
   is this update to Android 5.1.1 ?
