Dozens of people are more than happy with Jiayu DE RC4 …
I would not judge yes/no usage based upon one single user experience.
Perhaps you did something wrong?
Which was your previous firmware?
How did you flash?
Did you flash clean or dirty?
Flashed from KK, I have it for 2 weeks now.
The phone's performance is boosted and it runs smoothly. No reboots, lags etc until now, enerything is fine with this rom.

Εχω 4.4.4 να το κανω? γινετε και format οταν το κανεις αυτο? (Ειμαι τεχνικος υπολογιστων, εχω κανει cfw το ps3 και το psp αλλα με android δεν assholeθηκα ακομα) απλα τωρα απ οτι βλεπω δεν θα βγαλουνε ποτε οι κινεζοι lolipop αλλα οι γερμανοι απο jiayu.de το κανουνε update κανονικα.

Me too…I've tried other versions like xposed-v74-sdk21-arm64.zip yet nothing…I'm really considering trying xtreme. I just love RC for the mmc swap features. That's the only thing keeping me stuck to the ROM

ROM update from RC2 to RC4 done by using this ROM.
Used SP Flash Tool with settings as provided in the picture.
Preserved my recovery, all my applications and all my data.
Very satisfied!

I have no idea where to report those bugs, so here goes.
The ROM is great, but there is major distortion in the sound when you're recording videos, even with third-party camera apps.
Another known bug is that this ROM does not shoot 16:9 pictures. Only 4.3.
The horrible gyroscope drift for VR also remains, but I didn't expect it to be fixed, it might be a hardware issue ,and it's very minor anyway.
Everything else seems to be working just fine.
