i have the same problem, i can install 7.1 but i can´t install 7.1.1, error 7 when i try to install it

many apps tell me no root, then not start
I installed this without problem. I also installed open gapps 7.1-arm64. Now everytime I click on google store, phone saying me application stopped. How to fix that? I tried to refleash twice, tried two different version (stock / supper) of open gapps but still same problem
Please help as I cannot use it if I cannot use google store…
I really like the OS, but I have the same problem as Frantisek :/ It's Google Play Services that's crashing. Other Gapps like Youtube or Chrome are working, except when I try to sign into Google, which is necessary :/
I have 5.1.1 is it worth to go on 7.1.1 stable 4. Gapps included?
thx for this nougat. Good work! Unfortunately is WiFi very weak. Lost connection 3 times per minute.
I switched back to LL.
here is how I did it after error 7:
went back from stable4 tot LL with : JiayuS3-5.1.1 jiayu.de RC4; unzip this file and install scatter-file with flashtool. after rebooting into LL:
go to recovery and install stable5; reboot in recovery install gapps ; wipe cache & dalvik; reboot system after this reboot in recovery and install google pix , again: wipe cache & dalvik; reboot system and install as new phone. this worked for me hope it does for you (see rom google pixel mod patch).
Error 7 is known. Unmount system in twrp and install.
On stable before 5 if Google services and others crashed, you have to manage aurorisations for these apps (authorize)…
Play Services crashes on stable5 for me as well. I have tried everything to no avail. Has anyone found a fix?
Maybe check aurorisations in apps preferences.

Maybe a work around for Google Play is installing "F-Droid" app store, and then through that getting "Yalp" which lets you download APKs directly from Google Play without the Play Store app.
