ROM Official Archos 101b Xenon v2 Version: ARCHOS_M109TG_elink8321_emmc_E1011_RM_W4 – MTKAC101BXEV2-user 5.1 LMY47I

Gapps include – No Rooted

Language support: Multilang

Install ROM:


 - Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
 - Select "scatter-Loading" and search MT6580_Android_scatter.txt in ROM
 - Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
 - Select "Download Only" or if upgrade "Firmware upgrade"
 - Turn off your tablet.

 - Press “Download” button to start
 - and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
 - The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow.
 - And green circles display
 - Finish !

- You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.



※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM

    I hard bricked the following Archos tablet I own:


    I used the preloader from this Archos 101b Xenon v2 ROM and the rest came from the following ROM:


    It is now back to life but the touchscreen isnt working properly.

    thank you for this ROM which is unreachable via Archos tech support…

    Unfortunately I can't flash it via SPFT on my device, I don't understand why, do I still need VCOM drivers to flash it properly or not?

    Because Android SDK is installed and device was cleanly rooted via ADB flash "boot.img"… ;) .

    Is the scatter.txt (65XXX) really usable for 8123?

    I tried ADB too to flash this rom but it says that there is a size limitation (DL)  AND a signature verification, so is there a way to force flashing via ADB without those *#@! ? 

    Is there a SPFT manual more complete than the one provide herer?

    Sorry about the flood but I'm a bit disappointed with this device: NO SUPPORT from Archos! No explainations! Nada! F***'em all!

    Thank you for your solution BobLoblaw but it does not work : the mobitab logo appears then the screen is unreadable !
