Install ROM:

- Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
- Select "scatter-Loading" and search MT6580_Android_scatter.txt in ROM
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
- Select "Download Only" or if upgrade "Firmware upgrade"
- Turn off your phone, remove the battery (if the battery is removable) and replace it after some seconds (and don't turn on the phone).

- Press “Download” button to start
- and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow.
- And green circles display
- Finish !

- You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.

※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM

I have installed A8_BLACKVIEW_V1.0_2016.05.23 but after that it says that A8_BLACKVIEW_V0.8_2016.04.16 is still on (the version i had prior the update). Any tips?

I did install ROM 2 version and it works, but I coud'nt go back to ROM 1 version. I prefer ROM 1, is there any solutions?

  I had the same problem, but I was able to resolve it, eventhough the phone seemed to be hard-bricked. Have you managed to sort out your phone yet?

  make sure you flashing the right ROM for your phone. there are two version of A8. one is Y813 and the other one is Y806.
