Install ROM:
Install with SP MDT:
1). Turn off the smartphone. Cable is not connected to the computer.
2). Remove the battery and insert it again
3). Connect your phone to a computer cable. The operating system detects a new device
4). Disconnect the cable from the computer.
5). Run SPMultiPortFlashDownloadProject.exe
6). Choose File> Open File Agent download and specify the file MTK_AllInOneDA.bin (it is in the folder SP_MDT).
7). Click Scatter File and select the MT6753_Android_scatter.txt file (it's in the folder with the rom).
8). Click "Start all".
9). Connect your phone to a computer cable. The program should see and blink. If the phone is not detected, then unplug it from the computer,
remove and insert the battery (if the battery is removable) and reconnect it to the computer.
10). After (OK) click Stop and disable any phone.
11). Completed.
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM
What is the difference between ROM 1 and ROM 2? What ROM have a smart awake?
Sana kasi nagbabasa ng maigi. Nakalagay na nga sa description ang different version at kung ano dapat gamitin, ipipilit pa rin ang hindi nararapat. Minsan kasi kinatatamaran natin magbasa sa pagmamadali. Ayan tuloy.. Sigh .

the v8.0 not works .. we dont know if the rom is flashable on spft because theres no scatter file inside .. we try to flash using stock recovery but failed.. what is the source of that v8.0? thanks in advance .. we hoping that you will fix that
v8.0 is an OTA update, it will not work on rooted and modified recovery devicces,
paste it in the root of your memory card
open cherry mobile wireless update
look at the top right corner of your scree, find the 3 dots and tap on it.
choose "local update" and find the zip file "R1-Flare-X-V2-FOTA-25"
hit update, your device shoul reboot and do the automated flashing
or you can boot to recovery and choose update via sdcard.
at least thats the process, but unfortunately it says "signature verification failed" on mine, i'm using stock unrooted ver 5.0, so again if there's someone used it successfuly please enlighten us ^_^

How to Update Cherry_Mobile_Flare_X_V8.0 FOTA? It is always signature verification failed when I tried to update it through Cherry_Mobile_Flare_X_v4.
