Hi all, after a long time I came back with a new rom 
it is a (multilanguage) CM12.1 Lollipop 5.1.1 entirely compiled by me, still it as some problems but is already usable

added support for the smart cover
to manage the cover I used an app created for the HTC dotcase (thanks to the author), adapting it to our device
the cover is disabled by default and for the moment there is no option to enable/disable it. if you want to enable just flash the file (without any wipe) CM_EnableCover.zip (if you have it enabled and want to disable just flash the file CM_DisableCover.zip) - kernel: added support for dotcase

As I flashed beta3 and found the USB connective prompt will disappeared once I selected the USB charge mode.
In other words, after USB charge only mode selected and the USB connective prompt will never appeared anymore when connected to PC.
So it become no chance to change the USB MTP mode back.
And in V2, does this situation solved or not?
Hi happened to me once in V1,but after I unplugged USB cable from PC and plug it again,option was back there.

Also to select the way the phone connects to the computer you can always go into settings > storage > pc connection and choose there between mtp, mass storage and charging. Thats the way its supposed to work anyhow since when youre charging the phone over usb, no notification is supposed to be seen.

Yesterday I found out how to trigger the “touch screen failed after ending calls” issue.
Try this :
- enable “Prevent accidental wake-up” feature
- make a call to the phone from another phone
- answer the call, cover the proximity sensor and phone screen should go off
- while keeping the screen off, end the call from the other phone
- wait for call ended (1-2sec), remove the sensor cover
- touch screen should be failed right away
(Too bad, you need to hold power buttom for 10s+ to reboot your phone !)
If the “Prevent accidental wake-up” is off, touch screen “Prevent accidental wake-up” okay.
This should be easy to fix by disable the feature when the phone is in “phone mode”.
Bad news, after the test this afternoon, the proximity senser is no longer workibg during call !
It does work on other tester and apps. It happens on other users in China as well.
Please check.
After trying all efforts but failed in restoring the on call proximity senser, I just reflash V2 from rec and it works again !
I never had this problem, I do not know why some have it and some not
without a logcat i can't debug to try to find the problem
Should be the “double-tap to screen on” option, try enable it and make and end a test call.
A lot of users , including me now, have this problem if the double-tap screen on is enable.

Any way to provide “lock apps” so that the top right “clear all” button will not clear locked apps like Whatsapp, Gmail …… ?

Locking apps on the memory cant be done on aosp in the recent apps menu, just dont use the clear all button and clear the manually. How ever services like whatsapp will keep running in the background even if you clear the app out of the recents menu. To get memory info on the recent apps screen you can use gravity box xposed module for example.

Yes, the unoffcial xposed port for 5.1.1 from the xposed for lollipop thread on XDA has it. You can download it and flash it through TWRP. It works perfectly.

Finally a good ROM for the z7max. After zte team messed up such a nice HW with their lousy SW. Many thanks!
Three things I am missing so far,
1- palm screen lock
2- three fingers swipe for screenshots
3- Vibrate when you call a number and the other party answers
Other things nice to have but not sure if easy to add to the CM code
1- Split screen
2- One handed mode
