   Hi got backlight working.  Assigning ringtone and message tone still force closing.  I did not delete any chinese apps, rather I used CCleaner to disable and hide so I could use them if needed in future…I have never been able to get Coolpad Download Assistant working and believe me I have tried everything.  What I used to flash this rom was a tool called YGDP which worked perfectly first time I used it to flash this rom,  however since upgrading to Windows 10 it just isn't working…:-/

   Search for YGDP tools on XDA Forums guide to using included with application…I installed this ROM with that as I have never been able to get Coolpad Download Assistant working.  Attach cable to phone but not PC or Laptop,  switch phone off,  hold volume up attach other end of cable to PC Laptop press volume up one more time when you see yellow exclamation mark and progressbar should start.  Hope this helps someone as I had tried everything suggested on every single forum before stumbling upon this method myself by trial and error.  ROM works 100%

   Installing new ROM in Coolpad 8675 W00

   Thanks to tips from i7of9 and XDA forums, I was able to install the new lollipop rom on my Coolpad F2 8675-W00 phone, after some trial and error.

   Find below the steps that I took.

   1. Power down the phone.
   2. Attach USB cable to your PC and then to your phone. The LED near the speaker at the top goes red.
   3. As soon as the LED glows, keep the vol up button pressed. You will see the fastboot screen.
   4. Press the vol down key, another screen will appear
   5. Startup Coolpad Assistant, if you have not already done so.
   6. Navigate to folder where new ROM is, and select it. Allow Coolpad Assistant to load it fully (100%)
   7. Click on the green button on Coolpad Assistant. The ROM installation should start. Be patient for it to finish.
   8. When it finishes installing, it will reboot and show the new Dazen screen. Allow it to go to first full boot. To be sure, reboot again.

   Extras:

   1. To get developer access, go to Setup, press About Phone, press five or more times the Android phone version. This should give you developer access, and allow you to enable USB debugging.
   2. To change language from Chinese to English, go to Settings, look for the A_ (alphabet sign). Press on first Chinese characters on the very top. Select English on the next screen. All main menus will now be in English.
   3. To install GAPPS, go to Settings, select Accessories, select Install GAPPS. Allow it to download, and follow the installation instructions.

   Installing new ROM in Coolpad 8675 W00

   Thanks to tips from i7of9 and XDA forums, I was able to install the new lollipop rom on my Coolpad F2 8675-W00 phone, after some trial and error.

   Find below the steps that I took. There is a small edit in step 4. It should be vol up, and not vol down.

     For 8675-A it's all the same, except the Extras C:

     To install GAPPS, go to Settings, select Accessibility, select Install GMS package for trial. Allow it to download, and let it reboot.
