Thanks to carliv for this touch recovery and yuweng for his porting tool.
Copy to your SD card and use Mobile Uncle (root needed) to install.

How to root umi cross?
umi x2 turbo – i tried it work fine

All the other recoveries I used seemed to be in Chinese and so far this is the only one which has worked and is in english. I have not tried flashing any roms yet though. Can someone confirm how you boot into recovery from cold on the C1 please. Many thanks
Press and hold Vol+ while powering up. Alternatively you can boot to recovery from Mobile Uncle or anything else that provides APM options or use "adb reboot recovery" from PC
From cold I press volume+ power. Didn’t go to recovery, straight to startup. When umi come on do I keep pressing both or just volume+? I tried this still no recovery.
Vol- power goes to safe mode.
I can get recovery from phone on though.
The recovery is ok but in the bottom i have some errors messages like "can't mount","can't open" etc. etc.
