Install ROM:
- Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
- Select a the MT6572_Android_scatter.txt in ROM
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
- choose Option->USB Model,click USB Model
–> Choose Option->DA DownLoad All->Speed->High Speed, click High Speed
- Turn off your phone, remove the battery and replace it after some seconds (and don't turn on the phone).
- "Press F9 (hit Download button)" OR " if upgrade ROM Firmware->Upgrade "
- and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow.
- And green circles display
- Finish !
- You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM

HI in order to install this firmware you need to have a custom recovery installed in order to flash this rom.
or you can try mobile mtktools uncle.
if you root device install gooim maneger from play this will install TWRP for you.

i had black screen and sometimes white screen with orange, my phone was complete useless and updating it with official firmware that can be found on the webside made things worse
so how did you fix it?? mine is having the same issue after the update from the cubot website. now i am left with a white screen with orange box and sometimes black screen. the cubot boot logo appears fine but after that the rest is crap

my cubot p9 does not allow me to install an external sd card and I do not know why, I also unlocked root permissions and nothing to do. The condition for unlocking the screen sometimes freezes, will depend on the rom? or firmware?

I’ve got the 1.11 on my phone and there is no option to encrypt device …. Is this just my phone or is the device encryption option available in the 1.12 update…..
