How to install from start for beginers,
First you need to install all USB drivers, adb drivers, just extract rar files with drivers and install all packages, than just connect your phone and see if in device manager phone is recognized.
Than you need vROOT (the setup installs lots of mini apps on computer, so you should after installation go to windows uninstall and uninstall all new apps, except vROOT one). When you have installed it, just run the app vROOT, connect your phone and wait for vROOT to load it and recognize it. Than just click root and wait for phone to reboot. There you have rooted phone with vroot, now you can uninstall vroot apps on mobile phone and you can install super user to use root acces.

When you have done all that you can proceed to flashing your mobile phone.
In sp flash tool v5.1408.00, first you load scatter file, than you go options/options/download and you put a mark on DA DL All with chekcsum.
First you go download only, put out your battery and disconect phone, click download and put battery in and reconnect the phone if it wont connect press volume up. Wait for all to finish. Dont bother for all pop ups. Disconect the phone and remove battery.
Next step go choose firmware upgrade, click download put battery back in and reconnect the phone. Wait for all progress till green OK. Start your mobile phone and it should work, if it doesnt try clockwork mode and wipe all data/cache.

cwm is gone back to original but used that to clear cache ……. im going to try to reinstall cwm …but as its late here ill report back tomorrow

still no joy …phone freezes wont boot or access recovery so ive reinstalled original rom for now ….. i even tried the EBR trick didnt work either …maybe my phone is a one off that dont like modding ………..
if you can think of anything else that may help …..

Ok I try this last one, but I think I cant do anything, its some custom rom. http://www.dx.com/p/cubot-s308.....34#.VFjtxfnF9_E see in the picture its 4.2, and they say its 4.4. So they just installed this beta 0.9 4.4 KK so they can sell it. Original Cubot S308 comes with 4.2 . So its hard to enlarge custom roms.
uploaded this last one, if it doesnt work than it will be alot harder to enlarge memory. Ill try to change the code if this wont work, but that will take alot longer. 3-4 weeks.

i tried the rom …. something was different …. the phone booted to logo then about 2 mins later started to make the boot up sound then froze ……
PS i have a payout in the middle of december ill see what i can donate at that time ………. i have a paypal account
Its ok, I just want it to work. Ill try on thursday and friday again, dont really know what the problem is now. I dont have this version of phone so I can try it fast, when ill make new moderations to ROM ill just put it here so someone can try it. Ty

than you probably have 4.4.2 version on the phone. Didnt understand your question, yes it works on my phone if thats what you mean?
