I've ported CM12.1 for our beloved THL 5000. There are some small bugs that shouldn't affect daily usage… So feel free to try it out

Installation
1. Download the ROM (1st Link)
2. Download Micro GApps package (2nd Link)
(optional) 2a. Download SuperSU package (3rd Link)
3. Put the zip files on your SDCard
4. Reboot in Recovery
5. Wipe Data/Factory Reset
6. Install CM12 zip file (cm-12.1-xxx-UNOFFICIAL-thl5000-vx.zip)
7. Install GApps zip file (open_gapps-arm-5.1-micro-xxx.zip)
(optional) 7a. Install SuperSU zip file (UPDATE-SuperSU-vx.zip)
8. Reboot system
9. Enjoy CyanogenMod 12

As this is cm you can just remap the menu button to act as app switcher. That way it's pretty well usable even without a home button. I also noticed that with this rom the display reacts MUCH faster to inputs (compared to classic v2), but the cpu tends to overheat quickly from games and some apps, causing the phone to reboot. Another bug I noticed is that there are no statistics for apps that drain battery. It just says "Battery usage data isn't available."

For me the Play Store works perfectly fine. Did you install the Gapps version linked here? Maybe you accidently installed a wrong version.
Just tested the new version. The home button is still not working, it didn't change from 0.1. Camera works, but the image quality is terrible and pictures have a wrong resolution (14MP).
Nvm, with Open Camera the picture quality is almost the same. The right resolution from the camera isn't selectable tho.
Home Button did work on my phone, maybe I did pack some wrong files into to new version. I will doublecheck on next version
Better camera quality does not have high priority, first everything needs to work, then we will be in beta stage and fix the smaller bugs 
Same here, testing the older version. Please find here my thougths on version 0.1:
CPU is overheating. The back cover is very hot, even with simple browsing. Bit lagging in navigating between menus and scrolling down/up. The flashlight from quick setting menu, turns on, /but not turning off (had to reset).
Thanks for testing! CPU overheating has higher priority… Lagging, flashlight will be fixed in beta stage
ROM very slow with major bugs, but I hope it evoluate.
I ROOTed my THL with this ROM over TWRP recovery, it seem it works.

Befor as someone find home button error, download East Touch on Google Play, it help a bit.
I'm corrently working on the off-state-charging mode, can somebody confirm that HOME is working on v0.3?

I first read the news on xda-developers. Great work, meecrob and everyone trying to fix the bugs. Beware that there are still bugs in 0.3
like overheating, charging issues, no second sim-card, video-recording-encoding.
