I've ported CM12.1 for our beloved THL 5000. There are some small bugs that shouldn't affect daily usage… So feel free to try it out

Installation
1. Download the ROM (1st Link)
2. Download Micro GApps package (2nd Link)
(optional) 2a. Download SuperSU package (3rd Link)
3. Put the zip files on your SDCard
4. Reboot in Recovery
5. Wipe Data/Factory Reset
6. Install CM12 zip file (cm-12.1-xxx-UNOFFICIAL-thl5000-vx.zip)
7. Install GApps zip file (open_gapps-arm-5.1-micro-xxx.zip)
(optional) 7a. Install SuperSU zip file (UPDATE-SuperSU-vx.zip)
8. Reboot system
9. Enjoy CyanogenMod 12

I can not recovery my apps. I don´t want use titanium, just android recovery of my apps.
gapps didnt work!
Flashing v0.4 boot.img to newest version, will disable off-state-charging again. So could somebody please test bootv0.65.img that I uploaded… First flash v0.6 ZIP than this new boot IMG and tell me if google services do work. Thanks!

Flashed zip, boot.img, gapps (zero 0820). Infinite loop on THL logo.
With version 0.6 and boot version 0.4 GAPS works but secund SIM d'ont work and bugs from begining are here.
Wait next edition.
my network conection dont work no 3G in first sim,i try whith *#*#4636#*#* and change to 3G auto and nothing happens, this symbol (¡) it appear in top of two sim.gapps works after of 3 restarted .

Hey, I’ve been waiting a long time for this porting and I love this! I’m very thankful for this!! But if I install a cm version, do factory reset and install slim gapps, I never get superuser rights, neither with vroot (iRoot).. Does anyone know a solution? Btw I’m german, sorry for my bad english
Root can be enabled in the developer settings. You don't need vroot or any other 3rd party programs, but with the v0.6 boot.img root currently doesn't work, so you need to install v0.4 or maybe a newer fixed version.

Thanks to Meecrob and all of you for contributing actively to stabilise this wonderful ROM for THL 5000.
I moved back to 4.4 and await for some of the issues getting fixed. Here's few of my observations:
1. After multiple trails I installed GAPPS. But still I am not able to login into Google and access google play
2. Unable to deactivate SIM2
3. Even after removing the charging cable, the device shows that it is charging
4. Looks like battery is draining fast using this ROM. Someone in the forum can also test it.
5. SIM1 – 3G inconsistently turning off and on. Data settings in the settings did not work consistently.
6. I have already rooted my device and installed TWRP. I installed this ROM on top of TWRP. If this ROM has inbuilt root, how to remove TWRP.
7. If TWRP is uninstalled, will I be able to boot to recovery and load another ROM later using this ROM?
8. Can I restore the applications that I backed up in Android 4.4 using helium in the new ROM ?

TWRP is a recovery and installed on a different partition. Installing this rom won't touch TWRP at all and it will still work the same way.

Back from abroad, finally have the change to test cm12
Inserted the modded bootv65.img to 0.6 rom. wiped data/factory reset, wiped cache, wiped dalvik cache
Flashed 0.6 rom and latest(28august) Slim 5.1 GApps.
All done with Philz CWM

Flash boot.img from version 0.4 for now. Everbody can expect new rom version this week, hopefully with working gapps and off-state-charging…

Hello, yesterday I tried the Rome. At the Rome is very nice but unfortunately did not work Miscellaneous. All my contacts were gone I could not see, the Google Play store was not there and I was able to install app though but unfortunately not open. My Sim cards I could not edit, disable one, and turn on a not went. And everything went very slowly. Why I did the Rome thrown back down, unfortunately.
