DESCRIPTION
This rom is for GT-i9500 device with MTK 6572 cpu and 1-otm8012a_fwvga LCD IC device. Cleaned from chinese stuff and rooted. Does not contain an IMEI so you have to use MTK Droid Tools 2.4.5 to write your own IMEI
Approved to be working with SP Flash Tool v3.13228.0.183
Steps:
1- Connect phone and install MTK USB Drivers (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2206421)
2- Open SP Flash tool and choose scatter file from rom folder
3- Format device using Memory Test NAND Flash Test (inorder Flash_tool to see your phone you should take out battery and re-insert to continue, for the first time windows may stall you because of the MT65xx preloader driver installation) when you see green circle it means you can continue to step 4
4- Click Download (again take out your phone battery and re-insert it) at green circle you're finished installing rom
5- unplug usb and take out battery, re-insert it and turn on the phone
6- open MTK Droid Tool 2.4.5 and plug usb, when MTK Droid Tool 2.4.5 identifies your phone you may now continue to write your IMEI using Replace IMEI button
7- dial #*#94#*# inorder to set GT-i9500 boot and shutdown animations

Hi to all!
I have bought a chinese clone of a Samsung I9500 (from AliExpress.com) and I have tried to update the rom, but something has gone wrong and now the phone doesn't work. I made a backup with MTK Droid tool but some files are missing. I have only boot.img, cache.img, lk.bin, logo.bin, preloader.bin, recovery.bin, MT6572_Android_scatter.txt. (Total of 17,5Mb too few for a complete rom). I have tried with many roms and many versions of SP_Flash_Tool. The only thing that I can do is to flash the files of the backup but the phone obviously doesn't turn on. Only another rom found here (GT-I9500_MT6572_1-otm8012a_fwvga) get fully flashed with SP_Flash_Tool, but after the green circle comes on the screen, the phone doesn't turn on at all. So if some one of you have a complete backup of this phone, please can you upload it?

Usually that error mean that You try to flash emmc filesystem on nand or nand filesystem on emmc….
it doesn't support 3g

problem-restarting randomly
I flashed mine too with flash tool, it finished all downloads with a popup window showing Download OK. it then doesnt boot or boot recovery. anybody with idea to help.
