Factory version
HD1280 x 720 MTK6577 dual-core 1G RAM
ROM Installation
You MUST install the necessary drivers successfully first prior to ROM installation.
Unpack all RAR files, 6577driver_install_3_steps.rar, Flashtool 4.0.rar and HDC Galaxy Note 2 N9588 Lord.rar.
Install drivers first in sequence (The first step, Second step, Third step).
Run flash_tool.exe from Flashtool 4.0 folder.
Go to (at the top) Options > DA Download All > Battery > and check With Battery. Do not change the rest of the settings.
Open Scatter-loading (on the right).
Select file MT6577_Android_scatter_emmc from extracted folder of HDC Galaxy Note 2 N9588 Lord.
Click on Download.
Turn off phone and take out the battery for about 3 to 5 seconds before putting it back in. Plug in the USB cable to your PC first then the phone. If everything goes well, you will see a green progress bar at the bottom and finally completed with a green circle.
Turn on your phone and enjoy.
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM

Hi, can i use this rom with the galaxy note 2 Mage or is it only compatible with the lord??
I am having trouble with the vcom MediaTek drivers for windows, i have installed them, but i can't seem to flash just the recovery.
I keep getting this error:
BROM ERROR: S_FT_NEED_DOWNLOAD_ALL_FAIL (4050)
Need download all images!

DA paritial images download is ONLY allowed under following prerequisite: 1.All images have been downloaded to target before, and target could boot up: 2.The images layout map on the target is same as the load that is to be downloaded.

I strongly advise you NOT to flash any image which is not specific to your phone model unless you know EXACTLY what to do (boot.img compiling etc etc…). Though I posted this ROM, I do NOT create it. This is the factory/default ROM which I downloaded from http://www.talkingmobi.com/rom.....-download/. You may try your luck there.
If your phone is still working (other than the mediatek drivers), I suggest you do a factory restore rather than brick it (like what I have done… and regretted). Having said that, i definitely recommend you to leave it to the experts for custom ROMs (whereby I am NOT one).

I downloaded all the files but when I double click MTKusbDriver.msi, it says "The Driver Installer is not supported for this Operating System".
I therefore cannot proceed not even start step 1.
Can anyone help?
