Install ROM:
- Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
- Select a the MT6592_Android_scatter.txt in ROM
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
- choose Option->USB Model,click USB Model
–> Choose Option->DA DownLoad All->Speed->High Speed, click High Speed
- Turn off your phone, remove the battery.
- "Press F9 (hit Download button)" OR " if upgrade ROM Firmware->Upgrade "
- and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow.
- And green circles display
- Finish !
- You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.

Can anyone tell me the actual specs of this phone (S5 Ultra)? For the price I've seen, MTK6592 / 2GB RAM / FHD screen seems too good to be true. Hell, even the ROM name/version above implies a qHD screen, not FHD.
Also, is this actually a 4.4.2 ROM or just another rebranded JB ROM?
Can i use it on my SM 900H 1:1 clone MT6592? when u 'll make an update to real 4.4.2 for this phone? Thanks!
Well, I ended up with one of these anyways; wasn't an identical model as the base ROM doesn't even show up on this update list and nothing showed up in the OTA update list, but I took a chance and it worked fine. Definitely a qHD screen, but 2GB RAM and an MTK6592 for $150 isn't terrible at all, especially for something that does seem to be running actual KitKat – couldn't write to SD from phone, has ART options, etc..
Rooting was a bizarre process, and I couldn't mount the system partition to modify the platform.xml (to add SD writing) except over ADB while in CWM Recovery. If anyone wants, I'd gladly share my rooted&SD-r/w ROM if someone could point me towards making a backup that doesn't include my personal data.
Obviously I wouldn't recommend flashing this to anything but an S5 Ultra (on mine, the model name shows up as "S5 Octa Core") – it's definitely not a high-quality clone, missing things like fingerprint scanning, waterproofing, 1:1-design (especially notable with the shoddy clone-phone square battery), etc.
Can i port this to Micromax canvas gold ? It has Mt6592 octacore cpu. 2gb ram. Int memory 32gb. No sd card support. 1920*1080 resolution. 5.5 inch screen. Dual sim.
