ROM Mobile HDC S5 SM-G900S TMOBILE – ROM Android 4.4.2 (4.2.2)
ONLY MT6582 + TD-SCDMA
Config HDC : MT6582 + 2G Ram (real 1G) + 4G Rom + 1280×720 + Single sim
Official ROM HDC S5 SM-G900S TMOBILE version: KOT49H.G900SKSU1AND3 – S105_XLF_TMOBILE – SM-G900S_V01
Gapps include - No Rooted
Language support : Multilang
Install ROM :
- Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
- Select a the MT6582_Android_scatter.txt in ROM
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
- choose Option->USB Model,click USB Model
–> Choose Option->DA DownLoad All->Speed->High Speed, click High Speed
- Turn off your phone, remove the battery.
- "Press F9 (hit Download button)" OR " if upgrade ROM Firmware->Upgrade "
- and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow.
- And green circles display
- Finish !
- You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM

Very good.
No problem with the Battery.
the problem of rolling blackouts is because the battery is a bit smaller than the container, put something to press the battery, problem solved does not move.
I am amazed by this rom !!
GPS works, video orientation is the right way up, alaram clock works, music works !!!

Total newbie here so apologies if I seem a bit dumb!
Antutu says my phone is the 'SM-G900S' with 'KOTH49H-G900SKSU1AND3', however my phone has '2GB RAM (REAL 1GB)', '32GB ROM (REAL 16GB)'. Seems to be 1280×720 screen. The CPU says '1300 MHz (x4)' so I presume it's the MT6582 (NOT Qualcomm). Should this ROM work with my device and is it unlocked for all networks or JUST T-Mobile (UK?)..? Many thanks for all your hard work.
p.s. Is there a way to back up the phone's ROM to my PC first..?
With MTK droid tools you can se wich type you have.

Cheers Scoopline. Managed to backup the phone's ROM without a hitch. Only thing is I followed your instructions for using Flash Tool to install this new ROM, but when I plug in the phone (after taking the battery out) nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong..? Thanks for your help so far. It's very much appreciated.
In sp tools hit the download button or firmware update button then pull out battery then plug in the wire then put on battery It should work
What does "TD-SCDMA" stands for?

Don't know why but that SP Flash Tool doesn't seem to have the same 'buttons' as you describe. I've downloaded this one – 'SP_Flash_Tool_v3.1332.0.187' – this has the 'firmware update button'/'options' you described, but will it be ok to use with this ROM..?
Oh, and once I've loaded the scatter file, should I leave 'Recovery' ticked..?
