ROM HDC Storm MX Original and FireFly II V47 – ROM Android 4.1.2
Official ROM HDC/FireFly Version: Firefly II v47-989 2.0.6_04/01/2013
Language support: Multilang
ROM Install:
- Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
- Select a the MT6589_Android_scatter_emmc.txt in ROM
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
- choose Option->USB Model,click USB Model
–> Choose Option->DA DownLoad All->Speed->High Speed, click High Speed
- Turn off your phone, remove the battery.
- "Press F9 (hit Download button)" OR " if upgrade ROM Firmware->Upgrade "
- and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow.
- And green circles display
- Finish !
- You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM
can i install google apps on this rom?
First this ROM does not really change your phone to the better? it is still Chinese and the CWM is also in Chinese, and there is multi language but still only the basics ( Not Danish which I am looking for??)
For the flash tool I might to add a little about all the trouble I had to load this
First I had a million troubles to get my Win7 laptop to load the drivers which I had to find separately on Google.
Then the Flash-Tool just not reacted on anything, I played arround for a long time and to make a painful long story short what I found was to "tick" the Battery option and the force high speed BEFORE any cables or scatter files is loaded.
Then load the scatter file, connect the phone WITHOUT battery wait a couple of seconds and THEN insert the battery while the phone is connected to the PC.
This is the only way I can mane the flash Tool to work, but then it works every time
This is a little different than the description but worked for me.
All I need now is for somebody to make a De-bloated clean ROM in English with real multi language, Google Play pre-installed AND being ROOTED.

invalid scatter file format, dont work…………
Rename the folder 最新版Firefly II 2.0.6 -4.1.2 to Firefly II 2.0.6 -4.1.2 now works the scatterfile
hi, would any ROM for the other HDC phones would work for the HDC Storm MX? What is published here is useless.
Works fine so far. Very happy after the crap what was on the phone when it came from Fascardtech.
