Install ROM :
- Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
- Select a the MT6582_Android_scatter.txt in ROM
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
- choose Option->USB Model,click USB Model
–> Choose Option->DA DownLoad All->Speed->High Speed, click High Speed
- Turn off your phone
- "Press F9 (hit Download button)" OR " if upgrade ROM Firmware->Upgrade "
- and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow.
- And green circles display
- Finish !
- You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM

Like previously asked, does this work with variants. I have the 2gb ram and 16gb rom version. Would it work with mine?
ok guys i have managed to install this after a very long procedure. works perfect. I have the 2gb version, firstly you have to remove the battery.
take out the sim tray and the sd card tray. get a thin object, in my case i just used my nails. pull the case of the phone. you have to go around slowly clicking of each hook.
dont be afraid to use some force. when removed the volume button will come of and the power button. dont be scared. battery be removed easily just like any other phone.
there will be 2 identical connectors next to the battery make sure they are connected, they can come lose when removing the case. download flash tools, and rom extract the files, Click on Flash_tool.exe
when opening the program is will say some shit about scatter dont worry. select MT6582_Android_scatter.txt from the rom files.
to update there will be a drop down list, click firmware upgrade and press download.
plug in your phone, with battery removed and the program will recgonise the phone. do no remove the phone until it says and shows a green tick.
note: press download first then connect your phone.
update will be in chinese, you will have to change the language settings. go to setting, you can recongized by the app. then go to the icon which has "A". click on first option then you can change.
