you can install it on your STOCK rom Your device must have a custom recovery: Prefer the last TeamWin Recovery Project Having absolutely put the lock on reactivation off! (Settings / General / Security and uncheck "Ver reactivation.") Have a battery minimum 90% The permissive kernel Donylandes for root andSuperSu version 2.49 minimum from the links above
now flashing the permissive kernel
1- put the kernal zip to your sdcard root kernel_5.1.1_stock_to_root.zip
2- power off your phone and hold the vol up+ home+ power to enter recovery
3- now select install zip from sdcard
4- choose the zip from sdcard and hit yes to confirm
5- now reboot system
6- now the same method from above to install SuperSu
hint : after the last reboot the phone will take some time to boot up from 2 min to 8 min dont panic 
and thats it your phone is rooted and ready
