Install ROM :
- Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
- Select a the MT6592_Android_scatter.txt in ROM
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
- choose Option->USB Model,click USB Model
–> Choose Option->DA DownLoad All->Speed->High Speed, click High Speed
- Turn off your phone, remove the battery.
- "Press F9 (hit Download button)" OR " if upgrade ROM Firmware->Upgrade "
- and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow.
- And green circles display
- Finish !
- You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM

IMPORTANT: After testing, in my V04 device Wifi doesn't work.
Is an MAC address issue. I have no these addresses

Used Firmware upgrade option when flashing and everything flawless.
Definitively NO.
I did what you say and MAC address was erased again because when you mark "Firmware upgrade" all checkboxes are selected.

I have v06. Is it possible to flash v07 without risk?
I did that with only using "Frmware upgrade" in flash tools and so far everything works..also wifi…(V06->V07)
I don't with know other older versions, like V04 or in between.
But remember to make backup of your things before flashing!
By he way:
Remember to uncheck CACHE and USERDATA.
That way it won't overwrite your pctures, music etc..but still remember to make backups.
What about unchecking the preloader?
I only unchecked CACHE and USERDATA.
Then it updated and I restarted the phone, but you do it on your own risk.
