Install ROM:
Install with SP MDT:
1). Turn off the smartphone. Cable is not connected to the computer.
2). Remove the battery and insert it again
3). Connect your phone to a computer cable. The operating system detects a new device
4). Disconnect the cable from the computer.
5). Run SPMultiPortFlashDownloadProject.exe
6). Choose File> Open File Agent download and specify the file MTK_AllInOneDA.bin (it is in the folder SP_MDT).
7). Click Scatter File and select the MT6735_Android_scatter.txt file (it's in the folder with the rom).
8). Click "Start all".
9). Connect your phone to a computer cable. The program should see and blink. If the phone is not detected, then unplug it from the computer,
remove and insert the battery (if the battery is removable) and reconnect it to the computer.
10). After (OK) click Stop and disable any phone.
11). Completed.

My phone arrived a couple days ago. I have had very poor Cellular Data connection (will only connect at 3G) and the WiFi will register w/ the network, but for some reason I keep getting a "timed out" error message when ever I try to utilize WiFi. The Cellular Data works decent (at 3G speeds) but at times will just lock up and not respond. Sometimes, switching from Airplane mode on and off will get data flowing again.
My phone says it's ROM version is iNO_SCOUT_2S_Singapore_V4.0_20160126
How did you get the ROM dated 2016-02-19 and did you notice it fixing any problems?
Did you get it directly from iNO? Do they have a website that posts updates? I haven't found any.
I wonder if that ROM version would fix my connection issues.

When I hit "Start All" I get a "FAIL" warning.
"Warning: Maybe error as follows:
(1)COM ports number repetitive or invalid
(2)Brom and preloader have the same comport number!
Please modify then in INI file or scan again."
I have never used SPMultiPortFlash before.
I was able to flash it w a different program than SP MTD. I think it was called SP Flash.
Wi-Fi seems to be working better. Phone fairly quickly reinstalled about 30 APPS over Wi-Fi. Although right now the Wi-Fi is not working as well.
Any change log available for what changed with the March 28 ROM?
Hello, I have the Scout 2 and I want to update the ROM. Has anyone used the newest updated ROM that is list above and here as well (iNO SCOUT 2S – Update 06/03/2016) please response with any info on this matter thank you in advance.
