you can try to make a backup of your rom mobile with ClockworkMod Recovery
after you transfer the backup to another mobile and reboot into CWM

My jiayu g1 mtk6515 doesn’t work this rom.
1) Update started.
2) Udate continuing.
3) Gives me warning on robot.
Any news on progress to rooting this phone ?
The G1 can be had now for under $60usd which means many people will start buying it and many will start to ask for it to be rooted !

If that is the case, why does this thread exists? makes no sense to publically release a ROM for G1 and then its "officially" unsupported.
