DESCRIPTION
partition resize .zip created and worked on by @AlexZap @Hypoturtle and @digitech over at XDA for resizing internal partitions in Kingzone Z1 (also works on all other mtk6753/mtk6752 devices) with aroma installer for ease of choice/access
EDIT: update added v22.4.1
Changes:
- Installer will now refuse to make changes to partition table if user selects too large a size for userdata (fixes the bootloops we were encountering on Lollipop devices)
- Fixed compatibility issues with Carliv Touch Recovery (I think).
EDIT: update v.210 now added
Changes:
- New splash screen
- Added MT6735 to the compatible devices list
- 13GB option is now not displayed if the device doesn't have enough space.
- Fixed the microscopic writing.
- Updated UI.
How to do the resize (No computer needed)
What you must have:
- An MT6732/52 phone with TWRP recovery installed.
- At least 50% battery
- The Resize Aroma zip attached to the bottom of this post.
- A brain
It would also be a good idea to have:
- An original stock firmware that you can flash with SP Flash Tools (just in case)
- A backup of your internal "SD card" (it will be wiped, but /data will not)
The process will take you less than 10 minutes.
NOTE: The userdata partition WILL NOT be erased in this process.
NOTE 2: As long as you have a stock firmware and know how to install it with SP Flash, the chances of a brick are practically zero.
WARNING: Back up anything you want to keep off the Internal SDcard! It also wouldn't be a bad idea to backup /data too, just in case something goes wrong.
Method:
1. Boot into TWRP recovery mode. Choose Install.
2. Find the Resize zip you downloaded and select that.
3. READ the welcome screen!
4. Press Next and choose the new size for the /data partition. You can choose anything from 3GB to 13GB.
5. Press Next and press Start. Wait for the resize to complete (it shouldn't take much more than 30 seconds).
6. Reboot.
7. Enjoy your extra space!
Possible issues:
- "I reboot and get a Damaged SD card notification"
-> Click the notification and click Format.
- "My device does not boot!"
-> Reflash your device with your stock firmware using SP Flash. If you don't have a firmware… Well, you were warned.
- "Partition resize appears to be successful but my device bootloops"
-> This can happen when you shrink the /data partition too much. Run a factory reset in recovery and try booting again.
Credits:
@HypoTurtle and @AlexZap for the initial idea, creation and development
@odigitech (me) for the modifications that finally made this work (and for the splash screen)
@mrsim and @sergsinger for testing.

My Z1 bricked, but I flashed with the rom available here.
Now my screen won't come on. The boot chime plays but that's it.
The phone appears to respond to touch but I really can't tell.
Can someone please help?

@arafataras,try booting into recovery and wipe data factory reset…if that does not work re-flash the rom only this time 'auto format' with sp flash tools latest version first, disconnect device load the scatter file again and flash the rom again without preloader,(untick this option),also which rom did you flash….here is a fully working rom flashable with sp flash tools if you need it,remember follow my advice and do not flash the preloader

@arafataras….did you say you cannot boot into recovery…?
is your device recognized by your p.c. when you connect it in device manager…?…if yes then please follow instructions for flashing stock rom back onto the device

Rom file & scatter c211_tz_3m_k368_new_13_20150509 http://www.4shared.com/rar/HIP.....lash_Tool_.html
firstly: you must have 'mtk usb vcom' drivers installed on your p.c. without these sp flash tools will give you errors
second: you must use the latest version of sp flash tools v5.1504 and run it as administrator,(failure to do this will also result in errors or your device not being recognised by sp flash tools)
third: load the scatter file from the rom link above and untick 'preloader' then press download in sp flash tools,(i never tested this with the preloader ticked and i will always advise against flashing a preloader onto your device unless absolutely needed or as a last resort)
fourth: remove battery from device, press and HOLD vol- and connect the device to p.c.,(this is called 'meta mode' and will trigger the preloader and vcom drivers),the red bar will pass then the yellow bar will start,(at this point you can release the vol- button) let the process finish and profit
the only error i encountered when i first tried to flash the file was "PMT has changed for the rom,it must be downloaded" this usualy means you need to first 'AUTO FORMAT' the device with sp flash tools,(which i did), DO NOT FULL FORMAT or you will format your preloader and be left with a true brick also it will become difficult to connect to sp flash tools or your p.c. without a preloader…that's what it's there for to connect to p.c.'s so AUTO FORMAT only if you encounter this error
after successfully flashing the device it should boot without having to reboot to recovery,(it worked for me),and having to wipe data factory reset but if you are stuck in a bootloop on the boot animation or logo then booting into recovery and doind this is advised…if that does not help re-flash the rom again 'without formatting' following all the steps above to do so 'without formatting' unless you recieve the PMT error
now my device was ok i merely tested this rom to see if the scatter would work ok and it did but i had TWRP installed and even though i flashed the stock recovery partition i still ended up with TWRP as my recovery,(not sure if this was in the files or if it was my own),but i instantly recieved a system update which would not flash via OTA due to TWRP being installed but you can use my other thread here in the forum to OTA if needed,i also was worried that i may lose my IMEI's but i didn't which was cool but if you are using this rom and your device works ok then download mobile uncle toolbox from that OTA thread i mentioned and backup your IMEI numbers first just in case
thanks again to @NAUSHAD25 for providing the link to this rom and scatter file

so it will reduce my phone storage capacity? or it can swap my sd card as the phone storage?
08/22/2015
App storage will be made bigger, the simulated “SD” will be made smaller. You can then swap the simulated SD with your real External SD by going to Settings > Storage > Change Default Write Disk to “SD card”.

Great job. It’s work fine. Tanks.
But I have a question:
Is there any way to swap permanently internal storage and extetnal sdcard .
I now this was possible in older andtoid versions by modifying vold.Fstab
but I don’t know how to do that in my Kingzone z1 4.4.4.
Tanks
