Requirements:
Rooted Gionee P3 phone
Custom recovery: any custom recovery (I used CTRv2.2)
Instructions:
1.Go to recovery by pressing power button and volume up together
2.Go to mounts and storage and format System
3.Go to wipe menu and wipe cache, data and dalvik cache
4.Then flash the linked zip file.
First boot takes time..Be patient
BUGS: Haven’t found any. Tell me if u find any.

I know how to root it. It's very easy. I'll tell you but first tell me whether this is really KitKat or Jellybean made to look like KitKat. :p
@davidheisnam this is obviously kitkat as is evident from screenshots
go for iroot.exe
@Anik Das Jellybean can also be made to look like KitKat. In the very customized world of Android, you can’t decide on appearances alone. If that’s KitKat, why doesn’t it have transparent status bar?
@John Gore broo, vice versa can be true as well.. if you've ever used Android x86, you'll see it too didn't have transparency in status bar..(though you could force it, I suppose). And don't take it seriously, or as an insult, I like debates.
@Anik Das I don't mind at all. Anyway, have you installed this ROM? Could you tell me about it? Does it have option to choose between ART and Dalvik?

Please confirm whether this is KitKat by going to Settings > Developer Options and check whether “Select Runtime” is in there. I wanna install this ROM but not if it’s not KitKat and if it can’t be rooted. Of course, it can be rooted. I know how. I just need to know whether this is really KitKat!!
it is kit kat and trust me it can't be rooted not even with iroot (old vroot) or anny other one click root apps.it was perfect if it camed prerooted
@el-matadore Just flash the zip file on this page. http://download.chainfire.eu/3.....96/SuperSU/ through a custom recovery. Don’t do any factory wipe or reset.
If you have a custom recovery, you’re pretty much rooted, or at least rooting becomes easy.
sir file manager is very slow when displaying thumbnails and secondly unread counts does not appear in dock.

Yay!! I installed this ROM and it’s perfect. Rooted it too! This is definitely the best ROM for P3.
Did anybody try using ART on this? I feel that it won’t work.
