Install ROM:
Unpack the archive ****** and archive with the ROM
1). Turn off the smartphone. Cable is not connected to the computer.
2). Remove the battery and insert it again
3). Connect your phone to a computer cable. The operating system detects a new device
4). Disconnect the cable from the computer.
5). Run SPMultiPortFlashDownloadProject.exe
6). Choose Database Factory menu> Configuration File data source and specify the file MTK_DATABASE.mdb (it is in the folder SP_MDT).
7). Choose File> Open File Agent download and specify the file MTK_AllInOneDA.bin (it is in the folder SP_MDT).
8). Click File and select the MT6582_Android_scatter.txt file (it's in the folder with the rom).
9). Click "Start all".
10). Connect your phone to a computer cable. The program should see and blink. If the phone is not detected, then unplug it from the computer, remove and insert the battery and reconnect it to the computer.
11). After (OK) click Stop and disable any phone.
12). Completed.
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM
When I click "Start all", the flashing tool says "Can not find Checksum.ini! Please use CheckSumGenerateTool to generate the Checksum.ini.".
However there is no tool with such a name in the package and I can't generate the missing file…
Could somebody help me with the upgrade ? Thanks in advance
Use SP_Flash_Tool_v5.1409.03. Choose Format and Download. BE WARNED! You will LOSE IMEI.. And ROOTING is a difficult! You have been warned!
Hallo Cypher, thank you for your quick answer. I've read than the IMEI were lost during the upgrade process but I thought I would use Mobile Uncle to restore them but if rooting is difficult I think that I might wait a little bit.
I'll try again when root is again easily accessible…

I was surprised when program "Baidu Root" rooted my phone! It's not difficult.

Kill the Playstore V2.0 Trojan with sytemmanger (phone must be Rootet with KINGO ROOT)
Uninstall the Playstore V2.0 then you can Unroot the Phone with Kingo Root .!!!!
Than is it clean !!!!
