Improved feeling when scrolling the list. Looks like it from the ROM Infrared/Cappa72. 5. FM Radio from Lenovo ROM (works without headphones) 6. Superuser/root manage by Koushik Dutta apk ( i think it's looks better ) 7. Separate ringtone for each SIM card (in settings: voice-call ringtone = SIM1(3G), video-call ringtone = SIM2 8. Enter to the EngineeringMenu in DevelopOptions 9. Reasonable number of gapps 10. 1% step battery indicator (changed appearance) 11. Changed font, Holo dark theme 12. Silent camera (focus sound), and record to MP4 file 13. Management of programs startup in Settings 14. More options in the Reboot menu 15. Centered Dialpad, little fixed application of Contacts and SMS 16. Replaced mount point of internal memory and SD card 17. Good Polish translation I think… 18. A lot of things I do not remember or have not seen/known

Changes/Fixes: 1. Replace root application. Previous after update crash and not work 2. Restored old good Calendar app. 3. BesAudEnh work. However, I suggest switch off because weak sound. 4. Update gapps and other things. 5. SMS – characters limit after which the message will change automatically to MMS'a changed from 4 to 64. For MMS add subject or other media as always. 6. Added support for init.d scripts + some stolen scripts for test 7. The choice of destination (Phone/Sdcard) during installation for local *.apk file (not Market, and not full translated to other lang). 8. You can take panoramic pictures. 9. Odex, Zipalign, graphic optimization, and hundreds of other things that could go wrong

Known bugs:
- ~~The camera works, take pictures, record videos, but can not take panoramic photos~~ (btw what I know all in all the 16:9 photo are only 6Mpx )
- If the battery level is below 10%, then the automatic backlight does not work and other strange things happen sometimes

Problems?
If you have a problem then the first reboot the phone, it helps to fix most of the basic problems. Second download file again and reflash ROM, sometimes happens that something bad download, transfer or other. Third write in the comments your comments. It would be nice if you exactly describe the problem: what, where, when, who, what, are you sure you have the Lenovo A820

Installation via Recovery (TWRP/CWM)

Step 1: Download the custom ROM copied to an external SD card root directory Step 2: the shutdown state. While holding down: – Power button + volume button up + volume button down, to enter the recovery mode. – !!! MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR FILES !!! – Wipe -> Advanced Wipe -> Check: Davik Cache, Cache, Data -> Swipe to Wipe Step 3: Return to main -> Install -> Select your ROM -> Swipe to Confirm Flash Step 4: Install complete, restart the phone Patience required – first boot takes a while.

Υeap, after EPO download and GPS SET with Mobileuncle tools, GPS works perfectly.
In general, This Rom is the first for me, second is Cappa’s and third is Infrared’s.
I have no words, really..!!!

antiChriSt85 – About the Google search, i had the same thing. What i do to solve the problem is delete the Google Search app becuase it's a system app i used Titanium Backup, it should be called googlequicksearchbox\googlesearchbox or somthing like that.. after that i restart the device, installed the Google Search from the Play Store and than you good, Hope it will help you,

I use this rom as my daily, i didn't found any big bugs, the translte of the rom is amazing, the rom is fast and stable, like it very much.

I'm Sure the status bar disappears after HotBoot. Back when an any alert comes. If it was gone for good is something screwed up and you should be ashamed of yourself But seriously I'll look into it.

To download the EPO data and activate A-GPS you don't need MobileUncleTools. Unless you know something I do not. If it works I am happy

Installed it today as orignal etotalk ROM was not really stable.

Pro: Fast and stable

Cons: Google search (widget) crashes repatedly. Not usable.

Google search – fixed, as I think - too much removed.
Google Keyboard instead of the standard keyboard, swype active after automatic update via WiFi
Update Google Play. The menu (My App, etc) is in a different place if you didn't know.
Mail app replaced with old good version from superthan (everything you see normally).
The trouble with the address bar is weird. I have no problem with that except that I described earlier (after HotBoot). :-/

Well, quite nice ROM it gives me ~13250 in antutu (Lambda 2.3.4 ~ 12750) but:

- lack of sychro with facebook (contacts doesn't download photos etc.)

- in polish, gestures in google keybord still doesnt work (english ok)

- I can't switch on tethering (via wifi)

- adding gmail adress to mail app gives "Waiting for sychronisation" restart makes no difference

- landscape mode in camera doesnt work

  sorry a little correction:
  
  - indeed polish gestures works fine after updating from play store (google keybord unavailable in play store while serching but available when redirected from www)
  
  - tethering also works fine = need to switch off "usb debuging"

  Unfortunately thetering in WiFi mode isn't working for me even if I turn off/on usb debugging mode. It stops on displaying "Turning on WiFi…".

Great rom so far. I got one question though. How can i enable the android animations? When im pressing the home button, the phone is fast but i miss the animation.

  You need to enable animations in developer options. They are disabled by default.

I did, put 0.5 animation scale but it didn’t helped. The animations between pages are working but the “home” animation is not.

  No. This is port from Star to Lenovo. Not vice versa This is rom for Lenovo only, but if you can you can port it backward
