If you have a problem with the contacts you need to check the options of displaying, or import them again.
Contacts are recognized after a minimum of 9 digits. I can change it but for now I prefer to leave as is.
All tested using TWRP. CWM – unknown, but it should work

1. Added support for several languages. There is no possibility that all is well, but I tried to add as many as I can. I'm not omniscient.
2. Added SIM Toolkit and NoteBook. Removed redundant widgets and some unnecessary files.
3. Adding support for multiple users
4. Fixed a problem with the recording after adding effects.
5. Added support for headset button.
6. Changed the YouTube application. Reason: poor quality of playback in previous version.
7. The little fix in installation script. Added full of BusyBox options witch update.
8. Fixed caller_ID and SMS, little optimization in apk files, ODEX and other things.
Known issues:
1. Occasional freezing on "Lenovo" screen on (re)start. Not everyone even notice Simply remove the battery and reboot. Probably the reason is Xposed/Gravitybox but thing to check.
2. Miracast still not working

Step 1: Download the custom ROM copied to an external SD card root directory
Step 2: the shutdown state. While holding down:
– Power button + volume button up + volume button down, to enter the recovery mode.
– !!! MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR FILES !!!
– Wipe -> Advanced Wipe -> Check: Davik Cache, Cache, Data -> Swipe to Wipe
Step 3: Return to main -> Install -> Select your ROM -> Swipe to Confirm Flash
Step 4: Install complete, restart the phone Patience required – first boot takes a while.
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM
You want to improve your A820 or any android-device in an astonishing way ? Try MacroDroid from the app-shop. (I am a user only). Can replace a lot of other apps and can do things no other app can do. Like Tasker, but very easy to use.
Excuse this offtopic.
Hi, There is an issue with filesyetem and charging. Did anyone experience this? When the phone is turned off and I connect a charger the system starts generating lots of zip files in /data/core folder. When I turn on the phone after full charging the root filesystem is completely full. This behavior is repeatable.
The other thing is that during charging when the phone is off the display light is on. It is dimmed but is on. Maybe this is a clue to the abovementioned ploblem.
Hi, my display is dimmed too (when charging switched off phone). But /data remains empty.
(rom MS II + Infrared's CWM)
Just looked, there is no data/core folder in my phone. Guess it is some app that you have installed that causes this problem
Regards
Wolfgang
@wolfgangt – did you try charging your phone when it is turned off?
Today I wiped my phone and installed this ROM again. After installation there is no /data/core, but after charging phone when it is turned off this folder appears with zip files inside. So the story repeats
Furthermore these zip files are encrypted with password.
Turned off means power down or just locked ??
I mean power down.
Generally there is some problem with power off charge screen – it looks as if the phone hung up, no possibility to start CWM, no battery icon with percentage indicator when power button pressed shortly. This ROM would be the best if this part was fixed. I tried Infrared's 4.2 ROM and power off functionality works perfectly, but the rest is less stable
.
I can not reproduce your problems.
- No data/core folder when charging the phone in down status;
- No other problems with the shut-down menu. Long-pressing gives me a menu for
shutdown
reboot
airplane mode
plus three icons for the ringer-mode. Everything works perfect.
Sorry that I could not help. Someone else has maybe an idea.
Hi kretekpodnietek,
Unfortuately I fall into the same problem. This night I left the phone charging, powered off because of fully discharged before. Screen was completly off (not even dimmed). In the middle of night screen got bright for some time. Now I see my phone out of memory because /data folder is full of zcore-*.zip files (ab. 660 kB each). Creation time of first file is exactly same as my auto power off schedule.
Mastersanta,
there seems to be a real problem. !!
