Origianlly it wa sTWRP is the best option but since MANNUR put up CWM everybody is using CWM but I'll stick toTWRP which came in MANNURs original version (I dont like the small and hard to maneuver CWM pages)

You guys are doing great job here. I have a problem with my Lenovo A880 and I will appreciate it so much if any of you can help me out. I want to find out how i can take off the chinese system characters from my phone. I see some chinese words with my incoming calls, and a google search i made tells me that those words indicates the caller location. Please i cant read this so i will want to uninstal this system app (if it is). How do I go by it since there no sign of it in my preinstalled apps? Or I will need to install a new ROM. Am new to this, so please forgive if am not clear.
Just go into system/etc/ folder find for a file name "geocoding.db" and delete / rename /or disable the file by putting a dot "." front its name (Android will ignore files with "." infront of their name). But the end result will be it will be replaced with an English word "Unknown City" as we dont know the dbase base system to be able to modify it. there are at least 300++ TW/China cities with corresponding city codes in the dbase.
Hope this helps I have already disable it (tempted to delete it )
