Just a silly question, can we flash S930 to our phone since S930 is MTK6582 just like A880 ? There’s new Kitkat ROM for S930 & the UI kinda impressed me.
You can not. Firstly will not work , secondly section systems in 930 larger, not just sew.
Please dont ask stupid questionand you may not receive stupid answers. How can you update another phones ROM onto another phones ROM even a very similar 1:1 copy of amongst Chinese manufacturers also cannot work 100%on the other copy. the best copy 1:1 can work only 98% percent and that2% is mostly the most critical like touchscreen cannotork wifi doesnt work. In the bests situationYOU BRICK ur phone.!

Because someone on XDA forum said you can use other phone’s ROM if you have the same MTK chipset. Feeling curious, I ask this stupid question.

mannur,can we just install s027 without wipe data/ factory reset,wipe cache advance? becouse,when i follow the step,all my google apps disappear.so,i need to reinstall back.how your advaice?

yes u can flash it without wipe data/factory reset, etc….but make sure u running stock rom not custom rom…
mannur there is s120 stock rom for a880 but im not sure is it new update or old firmware…
Look in date with firmware. last update v.S027
