I got my P780 yesterday. It has a viberom (instead of the original rom, as announced). Anyway, the Rom seems to be not bad.
Q1: I need root. Is there any chance to root this rom?
Q2: installed is VIBEROM_V1.0_1347_3_ST_P780. Is there any difference in "Update" ?
or is it just the same. Step1 – Step4?
Q3: in VIBEROM_V1.0_1347_3_ST_P780 German is supported. Will it be also in V1.0_1405_4 supported?
Q4: I had bad success flashing a tablet. How is the chance that everything work fine during flashing?

Now, I can't root or install other rom with flashtool.

So far the current versions of Vroot, Rootgenius, and Framaroot won’t root this ROM. It’s been 2 weeks and I also am still looking for a way to root. I did the OTA update and was appalled. I pretty much downgraded my phone with this ROM. And I been stuck with it
viberom 1401_3 and VRoot_1.7.4.4996 (http://links.mgyun.com/fw/296) – VROOT now only in chinese. Now I have rooted phone with this version viberom!!!!
vroot in chinese you need only few click and have root.
vroot in english is here: http://www.mgyun.com/en/getvro.....ot but old version than chinese actual version. I dont know, if this english version is working with viberom.
Before few minut i try root viberom 1405_2 and working (with VRoot_1.7.4.4996)!!!
