Install ROM : If your phone made 04.2014 or later, have to use for the flash the New_Preloader.bin

- Download FlashTool, extratct and Click on Flash_tool.exe
- Download the rom and the system.zip. Extract the rom, and extract the system.img to rom folder
- With Flashtool select a the MT6589_Android_scatter_emmc.txt in ROM
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
- select DA DL All with Checksum
- Turn off your phone, remove the battery.
- "Press Firmware Upgrade"
- and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- install the vcom driver if you don't do this before
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after, yellow, grey and green circles display
- Finish !
- You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.

Hahahha what a scam. This is the official Lenovo ROM and you don't need to buy it. Just wait for the OTA update to come to your country. Also if you need root just use SPFlash to flash a custom recovery like cwm (google it) and find the 4.4Root.zip file to flash (also google it) and then you can do whatever you want. Also I think this rom can be found on the lenovo official site: rom.lenovo.com just search for S820

Also installation of APK hangs. It starts after scanning for virus but never finishes installation.
