CWM
Step 1: Download the custom ROM copied to an external SD card root directory
Step 2: the shutdown state. While holding down:
– Power button + volume button up, to enter the recovery mode.
– Wipe Data / Factory Reset -> delete all user data
– Wipe Cache Partition -> Wipe cache
– Advanced -> Wipe Dalvik Cache
Step 3: Return to recovery main interface Install zip from sdcard -> choose zip from sdcard -> Select your ROM
Step 4: Brush complete, restart the phone Patience required – first boot takes a while
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM
for rom 4GB or 8GB ?
Anybody can help me? When I wanna flash the ROM, I keep getting error 7. What in the world is error 7?? Can anyone explain the real installation step?
i finally can root this…thanks to fellow needrom member…but i think ota update make it difficult to root…because it will change your recovery…so i just download it outside of the phone and paste it to sd card and install with twrp…btw ota update is so slow…the transfer rate is so much lower than direct download from the computer…i hope this help…thank you

I have upgraded to VIBEUI 1423. After the installation the phone is working fine. I used the MTK Tools to reset the IMEI. Also GSM 900 is still missing.
I have the following 2 problems can of you please help me out?
1. The band GSM 900 is missing as a result I am unable to use few carriers SIM in my phone. I am from India.
2. My phone started showing an Android Logo on the Top left Corner immediately after the homescreen loads and also in the bottom it is displaying the text "SECURITY PROBLEM" I tried many ways but I cannot fix this issue.
Is there any possible way without re-flashing the phone?
