ROM Mobile LENOVO S960 – ROM Android 4.4.2
Official Lenovo S960 version: S960_ROW_S211_140702
Gapps include – Not Rooted
Language support: EN/CN/AR/ES/FR/RU/SR/MY/TH/UK/VI
ROM Install :
- Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
- Select a the MT6589_Android_scatter.txt in ROM
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
- choose Option->USB Model,click USB Model
–> Choose Option->DA DownLoad All->Speed->High Speed, click High Speed
- Turn off your phone
- "Press F9 (hit Download button)" OR " if upgrade ROM Firmware->Upgrade "
- and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow.
- And green circles display
- Finish !
- You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM

Hi I'm new at this.. I've followed all the steps till:
- "Press F9 (hit Download button)" OR " if upgrade ROM Firmware->Upgrade "
Process starts (purple lines are filled) but it seems that is not updating the phone rom. Phone is switched off and connected via usb.
It seens that finishes in less than a min, but no finish msg is displayed. Only the Stop button is active
I've previously uninstalled the crazy china app from my computer that initially installed when I first connected the phone to the computer.
It seems that the FlashTool doesn't recognizes that the phone is connected.
Can somebody advice what to do ?

First press upgrade and then connect your phone to the computer.
Additionally I just saw that the process stops on EMMC Searching (displayed on the bottom left on the flash tool)
After search & read: Installed "MTK6589 MTK6577 MTK6575 COM Auto Driver Pack" (check in google for download) and it continued with the install…
On first glance everything seems perfect!!! I'll post additionaly if any pbms occur, If not : Thanks a lot for the rom!!! it saved me!
for me the rom is stable..
but i faced issue on compass, it doesn't work and keeps asking me to calibration..
do you guys have any solution?

I had updated my new Lenovo S960 to vibe ui 2.0 chines version OTA which was just useless for me.. After struggling for few days i found this rom which works great. I have followed the above guide but download option didn't worked for me instead ROM Firmware->Upgrade did the job.
