Let's start with the new rom for the first relying on the new firmware Komu K8
V1
Changelog:
1) FW Komu K8 KK V1.0;

3) Xposed gravity (to activate);

5) z2 Sony Walkman player with audio improvements;

ART will only work if it is not installed Xposed
Note: The GPS works well but you lose a little at the beginning, after falls in the ranks and the navigation is decent.

I restore by titanium backup pro and dont have any problem.
First, i did an update.zip with only app (no app data) after you install rom with CWM, you flash this update.zip and wipe cache.
Last, only restore app data with titanium
I don't have update.zip from JB rom
. so this is not solution for me …

I'm almost sure that there is something messed up with sdcard and internal memory in this rom – I used standard aroma instalation without changing partitions but it looks like sometimes internal memory is switched with sdcard … sa some apps don't work correctly .
sdcard – internal memory swapp changer. twrp or cwm flahing. no wipe data cache.

How do you test GPS on yours ? Mine does not find satelites in Ygps, GPS stats and etc.
I used faster gps to replace my location. Any thoughts ?
First of all i set my location with FasterGps. Then I open Mobileuncle tools with root rights. Engineer mode –> Engineer Mde (MTK) –> Location –> Location Based Services In the AGPS tab I go to bottom and check Allow Roaming and then I go GPS tab and turn on GPS. I leave the phone at the windows' bezel till it makes 1st lock (10 mins aprox). Next locks are pretty fast.

Great ROM!
I managed to get TB restore working. SDcard not always recognised, but when it is recognised it's fine.
However, after several reinstall attempts (TWRP) with 2 different SIM cards, no SIM card is detected. The software part is great, but after all my ZP998 is a mobile PHONE. So I reverted to my fav JB (AOSP 1.2 by Gacama).
How did you get TB restore working ?
You need to install the new TWRP recovery, the one for KK listed here on NeedRom (TWRP 2.7.1.0 KitKat).
You can (or need to?) do it before you flash this ROM. It also works with JB.
