installed easily and I have to say that it really is full of options! Too bad that the ringtones to be downloaded from the server xiaomi because they are really bad (for my taste of Europe).
However, it is really good and I can not wait to test it by connecting my smartphone to the MyLink system for my Chevrolet Cruze;-D

While any custom rom for the N9500 is to be welcomed, I have to ask why it is based on old android technology, ie 4.2.1. The N9500 I bought came with 4.2.2 and there is already at least one 4.3 rom available. 4.4 "KitKat" is now in the wild and as it is designed to run on any android device, regardless of age, is it reasonable to expect a 4.4 update of this rom?
still working on kitkat ROM for Star n9500 code name GEISHA.
for this ROM it's the most full function ROM ever,you will be impressed if you try it.
Followed the instructions to a T and just getting a bright screen with two blue lines on bootup. I have rerestored my nandroid backup and I think I will stay there for now.
where can download this rom kitkat ? and is tested full functioning (no bug) ?

this ROM should be compatible with all Star N9500 variant hardware,this why i suggest the user to follow the steps described in the TUTO,do not forget to clear cache and do wipe factory reset.

Hi,please go to system toggles > more , use 2g/3g switch.
please verify if the SIM used for DATA is in SLOT1.
by default only SLOT 1 can connect to 3G.
This ROM is working very well with my N9500 with LCD driver LT050ANKP019A.

As i tryed out all of Star N9500 ROM posted here this is the best one,fast , stable ,many features ,i loved "prevent misuse" "call recordin" "off-line voice typing" "firewall" features and long time battery…2 days!!!!! with normale usage wifi on all time ,i'm not sure but it seams that this rom is more screen brightness ,it is extremely flexible when it comes to customization. That's one of the reasons that i give 5 stars. However, carrier name take lot of space in notification bar,please make option to remove it in next update if any.
this is one of the best custom roms available out there.

You should be able to remove that with gravitybox
Please update modem/baseband with a more recent version.
The version included (29.02.2088) it's quite buggy.
Please use the latest version (included in ROM 08.02.2013) with baseband of 11.07.2013.
It fixed a lot of bug in baseband.
The base ROM (05.2013) is quite old.
Please apply all optimization on more recnt abse ROM (ex. 08.08.2013 or 27.10.2013).
