DESCRIPTION
Here I present you my MIUI V7 ota ROM for Jiayu G4S. Ported from Xiaomi Note 3G.
Brought to you by a recognized MIUI developer. Experience the real MIUI.

Installation
—————
You must first install official Jiayu kitkat if you come from Jellybean (to make the partitions correct)
Backup your NVRAM and Sec.ro partitions. (better be safe than sorry!) It can be fixed anyway so don't worry.
Transfer my zip rom to your SD. Insert SD in phone.
Reboot phone , enter recovery. (Use mine from here https://www.needrom.com/download/twrp-2-8-4-1-jiayu-g4s/)
If you come from another rom or something is not working after install press Wipe (Default one wipe data , davlik , cache) .
Return to main menu after finished.
Go to install. Choose storage microSD at the middle-bottom
Select correct zip file (JiayuG4S_6.1.7_V7-4.4.zip) from microSD
Then reboot and flash all the otas one by one from recovery incrementaly, till you reach latest version!
When finished , return to main menu and POWER off phone
Rom is Deodexed has Superuser and Busybox support , zipaligned!

Hi. I'm running the official Jiayu kitkat. I enter with TWRP recovery. Y try to install the rom, JiayuG4S_6.1.7_V7-4.4.zip. I get two errors. If I choose the option "Zip file signature version" it says "E: Zip signature verification failed: 1". If i don' choose the option "Zip file signature version" it says "Error executing updater binary in zip '/sdcard/JiayuG4S_6.1.7_V7-4.4.zip
¿What can i do? I've already tried wiping data, dalvik and cache before the installation.

In this versión i cant install viper4android
It's possible fix mac address wifi. Because on turn on wifi mac address change.

I have reinstalled this rom (tried the lollipop rom for G4S for a few months but it had some minor annoyances). So i did a fresh install, everything works exept my GPS does not get a fix anymore.
When installing OTA 6.3.31 I'm receiving the following error message: /system/lib/libsonivox.so has unexpected contents
Can you please let me know how to overcome this problem?

HuMbUcKeR: I had that problem too, with another file and on the previous update, but it was because I had messed around with it. The solution I found was to re-flash all the files in order, with no reboot nor clean cache between each file:

You can set the installation from recovery to install all of them in order (queue), so you won't have to do much.
I'm having a problem installing this ROM. I had downloaded twrp recovery and installed it. Then I tried to install JiayuG4S_6.1.7_v7-4.4 (420 dls) but it keeps saying
Failed to extract dir from "recovery" to "/system"/
E:Error executing updater binary in zip '/external_sd/JiayuG4S_6.1.7_v7-4.4.zip'
Error flashing zip '/external_sd/JiayuG4S_6.1.7_v7-4.4.zip'
I've tried wiping, removing files under /cache /data /system was succesfull but when I tried to wipe /sdcard there was an error: E:Unknown MTP message type: 1.
I've also installed official ROM and then tried to install JiayuG4S_6.1.7_v7-4.4 but there's the same error all the time. Can somebody help me to fix it?
